Larry Duane Lucas, Sr

Larry Duane Lucas, Sr. 58, of Cassville, passed away Sunday, Sept. 27, 2026.
He was born Dec. 19, 1967 in Grand Rapids, Minn., the son of James and Sandy (Ammerman) Lucas. On Jan. 26, 2001 in Cassville, he was united in marriage to Sherri Turner, who survives. Also surviving are his mother, Sandy Lucas of Remer, Minn.; sons, Larry Lucas, Jr. of Brainerd, Minn., Brandyn Turner of Neosho; Tyler Lucas of Cassville; Trey Spreeman of Brainerd, Minn.; and Monte Lucas of Cassvillei; daughters, Nicole Lucas of Brainerd, Minn., Braydee Smith of Grand Rapids, Minn., and Trisha Lucas of Grand Rapids, Minn.; brothers, Richard Lucas of Remer, Minn. and Michael Lucas of Hill City, Minn. and 10 grandchildren.
Preceding him in death were his father, James Lucas; son, Devin; daughter, Angel, and brother, Jami Lucas.
He was a self-employed welder. He moved to the Cassville area in 1999 from Brainerd, Minn. He was of the Baptist faith.
A memorial service was held on Saturday, Oct. 3,at Cassville City Park in Cassville. Cremation arrangements are under direction Fohn Funeral Home in Cassville.
