Jimmy Childress

Jimmy Childress, 83, passed away on Sept.r 11th, 2026.
Born on Janu. 29, 1943, He was a man who truly belonged to the great outdoors. 
 
He is survived by a family who loved him dearly including: Teresa Wilson (Terry), of Duncan, Okla.; Greg Childress (Terri), of Pierce City; Debbie Hagewood (Denny), of Republic; Tammy Ried (Scott), of Sarcoxie.; Kerry Stultz (Janice), of Cape Fair; Marsha Perryman, of Aurora; one brother, Ronnie Childress (Diana), of Aurora; one sister, Linda Mooneyham (Randy), of Republic; one sister-in-law, Cherry Childress, of Aurora; grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Jim and Lucille Childress, of Aurora, one brother, Bobby Childress, of Aurora; one daughter, Victoria Archer, of Republic.
 
He married Maxine Jones Childress, of Cape Fair. They shared 30 wonderful years together. Theirs was a love story to be told. She preceded him as well.
 
A celebration of Jimmy’s life and his final trail ride will be held at a later date.
