Gregory "Greg" Allen Hagebusch

Gregory "Greg" Allen Hagebusch, 64, of Wentworth passed away on Friday, April 17, 2026, with family by his side at Mercy Hospital in Springfield. He was born in Austin, Texas on  May 23, 1961; son of Frederick Leslie "Les" and Gloria (Poage) Hagebusch. He was a 1979 graduate of Apple Valley High School in California.

He married Kelley Rowe on Saturday, Aug. 22, 1981, in Glendale, Ariz. He was a member of First Baptist Church of Pierce City for nearly 30 years and their pastor over the last eight years. 

He is survived by his wife of 44 years, Kelley; his children, Duane (Lacy), and Davin (Courtney); grandchildren; his father Les; and his sister Freda (Rick).

He was preceded in death by his mother Gloria Hagebusch.

The family will receive friends from 5-7 p.m. Saturday, April 25, 2026, at First Baptist Church in Pierce City. 


Funeral services will be at First Baptist Church in Pierce City Sunday, April 26, 2026, beginning at 4 p.m. with Pastor Wade Rogers officiating. Private burial will occur at a later time at the Van Buren Cemetery in Wentworth.

Memorials may be made to First Baptist Church for the building fund. Arrangements are under the personal care and direction of Lakin Funeral Home in Pierce City.
