Beverly Stewart

Beverly Stewart, 84, of Verona, passed away May 23, 2026 at Mercy Hospital in Aurora. She was born January 3, 1942 in Chesapeake, MO., the daughter of Clarence and Grace (Johnson) Garner. She was a retired dietician for MRC in Mt. Vernon, Missouri.
Survivors include one son, Roger Stewart and wife, Trang of Springfield, MO.; two daugh- ters, Sandra Robinson and husband, Garry of Springfield, MO. and Dawn Allen of Verona, MO.; two brothers, Steve Garner of Aurora, MO. and David Garner of Verona, MO.; 12 grandchildren; 18 great-grandchildren and 2 great-great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents; one daughter, Darlene Jones; two brothers, Darrell Garner and Ronnie Garner; one sister, Sonya Rinker; 1 grandson, Brandon Cole and 3 great- grandchildren, Ethan, Danny and Bella Smythe.
A memorial service will be held Saturday, June 13 at 11:00 a.m. in the Chesapeake Baptist Church. A meal for the family will follow. Burial will be held at a later date.
