Kim Alan Laughlin, 62, of Mt. Vernon passed away Nov. 5, 2018, at the Lawrence County Manor, in Mt. Vernon. He was born Feb. 10, 1956, in Joplin to the late Larry J. Laughlin and Carolyn Kenney Sullivan. He worked in the maintenance department for several local trucking companies.
Survivors include: daughters, Jennifer Laughlin of Seneca, Shannon (Jeremy) Stark of League City, Texas, Lyndsey (Joshua) Cross of Joplin; brother, Michael (Renee) Laughlin of Joplin; sister, Bobbi Bateman, of Joplin; 12 grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by son, Larry E. Laughlin and one grandson.
Memorial services are planned for a later date. Funeral arrangements are under the direction of Parker Mortuary.
