Clara Virginia Wozar,71, of Seligman, passed away Jan. 23, 2020, at Bentonview Park Health and Rehab in Monett. She was the daughter of Clarence and Zelder Maynor, and was born Oct. 11, 1948, in Cullman, Ala.
Robert Wesley Wilson, 82, of Aurora passed away Jan. 24, 2020 in his home. Wilson was born in Sacramento, Calif. He attended Sacramento City College and San Francisco State College, completing three years.
Stanley Allen Warner, 66, of Ridgley, passed away Jan. 21, 2020 at his home. He was born Aug. 18, 1953 in Blackwell, Okla. to Robert and Lucy (Wilson) Warner, who preceded him in death. In 1972 he married Della Eckert, who survives.
Flossie Joan Steele, 91, of Crane was born May 25, 1928 in Elsey to James Franklin and Lula Francis King Logan and passed away Jan. 22, 2020 at the Hudson House Aurora. Steele was a member of the Crane First Church of God. She had worked as an administrator for Stone County Council.
Carolyn Sue Woods, 73, of Webb City passed away Jan. 30, 2020. A graveside service, under the direction of Fossett-Mosher Funeral Home in Mt. Vernon will be held at 1 p.m. on Thursday, Feb. 6, 2020 at Mt. Vernon IOOF Cemetery. Full obit to follow.
Gary Leon Gunter, 85, of Pierce City,passed away Jan. 27, 2020 at his home in Pierce City. Gunter was born in Scandia, Kan. Dec. 10, 1934. He was the son of Parley and Thelma (Howell) Gunter. He graduated from Pierce City High School in 1953. He attended a year of college at SMS in Springfield.
James David Magee, 47, of Exeter, passed away Jan. 26, 2020, in Bentonville, Ark. He was born Jan. 15, 1973 to Johnny Dave and Wilma Magee in Stella. He attended school in Bentonville and graduated in 1991. Magee worked for Vaughan Trucking in Monett as a truck driver.
Mary Lee Evans, 74, of Hollister, formerly of Monett, passed away Jan. 25, 2020 at Cox Branson Hospital in Branson. She was born June 18, 1945 in Monett to the late Leroy and Mary (Henson) Halsey. She graduated from Monett High School in 1963 and then attended SMS.
