John David Rice, 86, of Purdy passed away Feb. 24, 2020 while at Cox South Hospital in Springfield. He was born in Pasadena, Calif. April 2, 1933; to the late John Foster and Clara (Ireland) Rice. He was married in 1953 in Monett to Edna Lovell; she survives.
