Samantha Lynn Harr

Samantha Lynn Harr, 34, of Carthage, passed away June 20, 2019, at Mercy Hospital in Joplin.
She was born Feb. 4, 1985, in Springfield, to Billie Joe and Jolene (Swearingen) Burton. She graduated from Miller High School in 2003. She continued her education receiving her bachelors degree in English education and her masters degree in special education. She was married to Bryan J. Harr in 2009 at Mt. Nebo Baptist Church in Lockwood. She was a special education teacher for the Carthage Junior High School. She enjoyed coaching t-ball and soccer. She was member of the Christian Motorcycle Association, the Route 66 Cloggers, and the First Christian Church in Carthage.
 Survivors include: her husband; daughters, Addilyn Harr and Kyla Harr of the home; mother, Jolene Burton of Lockwood; brothers, Robert Burton and Michelle of Lockwood and Thomas (Tammy) Burton Trenton, N.C.; sister, Brenda Gaines of Lamar; and a host of family and friends. Preceding her in death was her father, Billie Joe Burton; and brother, Kevin Burton.
