RoseAnna Abramovitz

RoseAnna Abramovitz, 96, of Pierce City, passed away  March 22, 2020 at her home. She was born in Monett, July 23, 1923, to the late Anton and Catherine Miller. In 1944 in Pierce City she married  Edmund Abramovitz; he preceded her in death in 2011. She was a homemaker, a member of the St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Pierce City and a member of the P.C.C.W.
Abramovitz is survived by: sons, Francis (Anita) Abramovitz of Butterfield, John (Kathy) Abramovitz of Pierce City, Leonard (Deena) Abramovitz of Wentworth, Ralph and (Mary) Abramovitz of Wentworth, Mark Abramovitz of Laurel Md., Robert (Shelly) Abramovitz of Reeds, Paul (Mary) Abramovitz Pierce City and Michael (Glo) Abramovitz of Pierce City; daughters, Marylyn (Rick) Mercer of Pierce City and Tena Abramovitz of Pierce City; sister, Wilma Fenske of Pierce City; son-in-law, Phil Schad; 23 grandchildren; and 25 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by: her parents; her husband; son, Anthony Abramovitz; daughters, Margie Schad, and Catherine Abramovitz; brothers, John Miller, Frank Miller, Fr. Lawrence Miller and Bernard Miller; sister, Stella Velten; one grandson; and one great-grandson.
A private family Mass is being held. Friends may stop at the funeral home to sign the book and pay their respects.Memorials may be made to the St. Mary’s Catholic School.Arrangements have been entrusted to the care of the Bennett-Wormington Funeral Home in Monett.
