Robert Wesley Wilson

Robert Wesley Wilson, 82, of Aurora passed away Jan. 24, 2020 in his home. Wilson was born in Sacramento, Calif. He attended Sacramento City College and San Francisco State College, completing three years. Then he was asked by Chet Helms to do posters for his dances at the Fillmore Auditorium in San Francisco. He painted, did commercial art, fine art, and had a job as a print supervisor at City Utilities in Springfield.
He is survived by: his wife, Eva, his children, grandchildren and great-grandson. He was preceded in death by: a sister and brothers, Ray Wilson and John Wilson
Graveside services will be held Jan. 28 in Leann Cemetery South of Aurora under the care of Peterson Funeral Chapel. A celebration of life will be held in the summer.
