Paula J. Robertson (Vandyken)

Paula J. Robertson (Vandyken), 78, of Aurora, passed away on Tuesday, Sept. 15, 2026, at the Select Specialty Hospital in Springfield. She was born in Kansas City, on Tuesday, July 20, 1948; daughter of Joseph and Pauline (O'Hara) Warren. 
She attended Northeast High School in Kansas City and retired from Leggett and Platt after working for many years. Her last gift was giving life to others through organ procurement with Mid-America Transplant Network. 
 
Surviving are the following: two children, Eugene (Mary Gold) Robertson of Aurora, and Sandy (Dwayne) Swigert of Springfield; five grandchildren; seventeen great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild with another on the way; one sister, Reva Moore of Adrian.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Joseph and Pauline Warren; husband, Loren Robertson; and three brothers, Lenny, Melvin, and Bob.
 
The family will receive friends at Lakin Funeral Home in Pierce City, on Friday, Sept. 25, from 1-2 p.m. Burial will follow at Pierce City Cemetery at Pierce City.
 
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be given to Watching Over Whiskers in Springfield, in care of the funeral home. Arrangements are under the personal care and direction of Lakin Funeral Home in Pierce City.
