Otis Lee William Gatewood

Otis Lee William Gatewood, 62, of Stotts City, passed away peacefully in his home surrounded by his family May 23, 2019. He was born on May 24, 1956 in Springdale, Ark. to the late John and Kathleen (Kimbler) Gatewood. He was married in 1976, to Cherry Shephard; she survives.
He was a retired truck driver and welder, as well as being a member of the Reorganized Latter-Day Saints Church in Alva, Okla.
Gatewood is survived by: his wife; son, William (Trish) Gatewood of Stotts City; daughters, Misty (Donnie) Reynolds of Stotts City and Jessica Gatewood of Stotts City; brother, Ben (Beverly) Wood of Aurora; nine grandchildren; six great-grandchildren and his pup Lulu. He was preceded in death by: his parents; and six siblings: Floyd Albert Wood, Bobbie Joe Wood, Jeannett Barger, Jimmy Wood, Jack Wood, Henry Wood and Jessie Faye Wood.
Services were held May 28, 2019 at the Engage Church in Aurora. Burial followed services at the Sycamore Cemetery in Miller. Arrangements have been entrusted to the care of the Bennett-Wormington Funeral Home in Monett.
