John Charles Swift

John Charles Swift, 71, Kimberling City, son of Theodore and Marie Swift, was born Aug. 1, 1948 in Springfield and passed away Jan. 25, 2020. He worked in marketing and sales for the entertainment industry. He was a member of Our Lady of the Cove Catholic Church in Kimberling City and the Knights of Columbus.
Survivors include: his wife, Wally Swift of Kimberling City; sons, Greg Swift and fiance, Kim Sumrall of Springfield and Ryan Cox of Houston, Texas; daughters, Stephanie (Matthew) Gehrig of Maywood, N.J., Christie Lierman and fiance’, J.B. Brower of Tulsa, Okla., Kelly  (Russ) Erickson of McKinney, Texas and Stacy (Jeremy) Price of Bixby, Okla.; brothers, Ted (Patsy) Swift of Warsaw and Tommy (Sharon) Swift of Pierce City; sisters, Mary (Larry) Janice Fabro of Billings, Barbara Dees of Olive Branch, Mich. and Regina (Kenny) Howell of Springfield; 15 grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; and a host of other family and friends. Swift was preceded in death by his parents and brother, Stephen Swift.
Visitation and Rosary was held Jan. 31, 2020. Mass services were held Feb. 1, 2020 at Our Lady of the Cove Catholic Church Kimberling City. Arrangements are under the direction of Stumpff Funeral Home Kimberling City.
