Dorma Lee Able

Dorma Lee Able, 92, of Monett passed away Nov. 12, 2019. She was born in Long Lane April 18, 1927; the daughter of the late Noble Clifford and Ruby Irene (Potter) Eddingfield. She was married to John (Jay) Able and he preceded her in death in 1997. She retired from Jumping Jack Shoes in Monett.
Able is survived by: son, Steve Williams of Oronogo; daughters, Terri Mulvaney of Purdy and Sonya Lorfing of Kansas City; four grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by: her parents; her husband; son, Pete Williams; brothers, Sheridan, Junior, Kenneth, and Milford Eddingfield; and sisters, Jewell Lanphear and Mildred Wilson.
Services were held Nov. 17, 2019 at the Bennett-Wormington Funeral Chapel in Monett. Memorials may be made to Shriner’s Hospital, or the Decator Masonic Lodge in Pierce City. Arrangements have been entrusted to the care of the Bennett-Wormington Funeral Home in Monett.
