Cheese Casserole Delight

The Record’s “Recipe of the Week”:
Cheese Casserole Delight by Nola Horat

1 cup grits
3-1/2 cups boiling water
1 egg, slightly beaten
1 cup grated onion
4 oz. Cheez Whiz
1/4 lb. sharp cheddar cheese, grated
1/4 stick margarine
1 tsp. salt
1/4 tsp. red pepper flakes

Cook grits in water according to package directions. Add remaining ingredients and stir well.

Pour into a well greased 1-1/2 qt. casserole. Bake uncovered at 350° for 30 minutes or until set and browned.
