Brinda Diane Bishop

Brinda Diane Bishop was born on Dec. 5, 1949, in Aurora. She was the third child born to her loving parents, Robert and Lela Bishop.  The Bishop family moved between California and Missouri in her early years until eventually they settled down in Hurley. She graduated from Hurley High School in 1968. She married and became a mother a few short years later, and had her two wonderful sons, Michael and James. 
 
She started her career as a dental hygienist, then a sales representative for Water Inc., and finished her career as a training director at Chase. 
 
She is preceded in death by her parents, Robert and Lela, her siblings, Mary, Bobby, and Sharon, her husband Elmer, and her son Jim. 
She is survived by her son and daughter-in-law, Michael and Monette Scott, her brother Ronnie, and her grandchildren.
A visitation will be held from 10-11 a.m. on Thursday, Sept. 10, at Crafton-Cantrell Funeral Home in Aurora,  with a funeral service to follow at 11 a.m. in the funeral home chapel. Burial will follow at the Maple Park Cemetery in Aurora.
