Betty “Jeanne” Johnston

Betty “Jeanne” Johnston, 78, of Aurora, passed away June 2, 2019 in Mercy Hospital in Springfield. She was born to Buell and Marie Stout Iiams in 1940, in Rocky Ford, Colo. She was a retired quality control officer for MWM Color Press.
Survivors include: daughter, Sherri (Rocky) Jenkins of Aurora; two grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by: her parents; her husband, Lee; son, Jerry Johnston; and brother, Bob Iiams.
Funeral services will be held Wednesday, June 5 at 2 p.m. in the Peterson Funeral Chapel. Burial will follow in Maple Park Cemetery. Visitation will be held Wednesday from 1 p.m. until service time in the funeral home.
