Jackie Lee Nicholson, 88, of Mt. Vernon passed away on Monday, Dec. 1, 2025, at the Missouri Veterans Home, in Mt. Vernon. He was born on Dec. 9, 1936, in Stotts City, the son of Clarence and Dora (Barker) Nicholson.
On Nov. 23, 2025, Mar Mo’s life came to an end due to health complications. Born in Burma, she fled to Thailand as a child due to the conflict. She eventually settled in the Karenni refugee camp near Mae Hong Son, where she met her beloved husband, Vee Reh, who passed away in February 2025.
