Teresa Ruth “Teri” Smith

Teresa Ruth “Teri” Smith, 69, of Seligman passed away Wednesday, Jan. 21, 2026 at Mercy Hospital Northwest Arkansas in Rogers.
She was born Dec. 18, 1956 in Sioux Falls, S.D., the daughter of Delbert and Wilma Irene (Bruton) Overman. In December 1999, she was united in marriage to Russell Smith in Rogers, Ark., who proceeded her in death in July 2012. Also preceding her in death were her parents; brothers, Christopher Overman, Delbert Overman and Billy Scuddy; and sister Candace Overman.
Surviving are her wife Catherine Brothers of Seligman; sons, Rodney John Rasmussen and wife Jennifer, of Fairview, Texas, Delbert Rasmussen and wife Kara, of Fort Pierce, Fla. and stepson Elijah Brothers, of Aurora; daughters, Trasa Boudreau and husband James, of Washburn, Fawnya Wauters and husband Daniel, of Fort Pierce, Fla. and stepdaughter Joy Skelton and husband Jason, of Seligman; brothers, Kenneth Sharp, of Seligman and Bucky Barger and wife Tammy, of Washburn; sisters, Deborah Ball, of Vista, Calif., Roxanne Robinette, of Independence, Toni Tombleson, of Independence, Tonya Sisco, of Seligman, Brenda Rainey, of Monett and Fetina Havens, of Cassville; 15 grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren, with one on the way.
She lived most of her life in the area. She attended school in Washburn, graduating from Southwest High School. She was employed by Tyson Foods Incorporated as a lead person for over 20 years.
A celebration of life will be held at a later date. Cremation arrangements are under direction of Fohn Funeral Home in Cassville.
