Teresa Carol Andrus

Teresa Carol Andrus, 60, of Battlefield passed away Saturday, March 21, 2026, at the Ozark Riverview Manor, in Ozark. She was born Aug. 17, 1965, in Kansas City, the daughter of James Leon and Naomi Carol (Smith) Ray.

She was a 1983 graduate of Aurora High School. She worked as an administrative assistant for the State of Missouri, for 30 years.

On Sept. 21, 1984, she married Donald Eugene Andrus, in Aurora.

She is survived by her husband of 41 years, Donald; two sons, Grant Andrus of Harrah, Okla. and Cole Andrus and his fiancée, Sara Compton, of Springfield; and four grandchildren; sister, Pamela Pace of Springfield, one brother, Steven Ray, of Springfield and one brother-in-law, Darrell Andrus, of Aurora.

She was preceded in death by her parents, James, and Naomi Ray; her stepmother, Freda Ray; her brother-in-law, Randy Pace; her mother-in-law, Margaret Victory, and her grandparents.

A visitation will be held from 6-8 p.m. on Wednesday, March 25, 2026, at Crafton-Cantrell Funeral Home in Aurora. A funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. on Thursday, March 26, 2026, in the funeral home chapel. Burial will follow at Clio Cemetery south of Aurora.

In lieu of flowers, plants would be appreciated and memorial donations may be made payable to the Clio Cemetery in care of the funeral home.
