Slew of MVHS students inducted into National Honor Society

In a ceremony held on Sunday, April 18, students in grades 10-12 at Mt. Vernon High School were inducted into the National Honor Society. To be inducted, a student must have a GPA of 3.6 or higher on the 4.0 scale, they must complete an application process that requires service record and teacher recommendations, as well as teacher surveys. The final step is the teacher advisory/selection committee receives all the information and gives their input and approval.
