Heather Kay Carter

Heather Kay Carter, 48, of Harrison, Ark. passed away Sunday, March 15, 2026 at her home.
She was born on Oct. 8, 1977 in Monett, the daughter of Gilbert and Betty (Hyde) Stubblefield. On Sept. 27, 2003 in Cassville, she was united in marriage to Christopher Carter, who survives. Also surviving are her mother, Betty Stubblefield of Cassville, daughter, Lilly Carter of Harrison, Ark. and brother, Matthew Stubblefield of Cassville.
Preceding her in death were her father, Gilbert Stubblefield and brothers, Michael Stubblefield and Alan Stubblefield.
She graduated from Cassville High School with the class of 1997. She had made her home in Harrison for the past 23 years. She loved riding horses and barrel racing, and she enjoyed crocheting and spending time outdoors. 
Memorial services were at 1 p.m. Friday, March 20, 2026 at Fohn Funeral Home in Cassville. Pastor Lee Beck conducted the services.
