Debra Jane May

Debra Jane May, 70, of Exeter passed away Tuesday, Oct. 28, 2025 at CoxHealth Medical Center South in Springfield.
She was born in California on Feb. 25, 1955 the daughter of Albert and Josephine Reil. On Sept. 28, 2017 in Reno, Nev. she was united in marriage to Jimmie Dale May, Sr., who preceded her in death on July 22, 2024. Also preceding her in death were her parents; one brother and one sister.
Surviving are one son, Lee Seavy of Albany, Ore.; one daughter, Regina Marie Hamdan of Central, S.C.; seven grandchildren and many local friends.
She grew up in California. She was employed by several restaurants as a waitress. She moved to Exeter six years ago, coming from California.
Private services will be held at a later date. Cremation arrangements are under direction of Fohn Funeral Home in Cassville.

Graveside memorial services will be held at McCormick-St. John’s Cemetery, Monett, at 11 a.m. on Saturday, Nov. 8, with Reverend Andrew Kennell officiating. Arrangements are under the personal care and direction of Buchanan Funeral Home, Monett.
