Coach Wilkerson out at Miller R-2 with mysterious resignation

Miller High School’s girl’s basketball head coach Hannah Wilkerson is no longer with the district after resigning from her position last week under a cloud of secrecy. At this point the circumstances of the departure are unclear, although district Superintendent Dr. Dustin Storm was able to confirm Wilkerson’s immediate resignation, an action that rarely occurs during the school year.
A leaked document from within the district indicates there was possible inappropriate conduct by an employee involving a student, although Storm would only confirm that the district would have no further comment on the situation.
During her own high school years, Wilkerson was a standout basketball star setting several scoring records on her way to a short lived collegiate career. Wilkerson has had success as a head coach, as well, leading Miller deep into the state playoffs in recent years.
