Carl Eugene Johnson

Carl Eugene Johnson, 87, of Marionville passed away on Sunday, Jan. 4, 2026, at his home. He was born July 28, 1938, in Hurley, the son of Fred and Helen (Coker) Johnson.
He worked in the maintenance department at Silver Dollar City for 14 years. He enjoyed woodworking, playing golf, gardening and was an artist.
On Sept. 21, 1956, he married Patsy Sue Housley in Miller.
He is survived by his wife of 69 years, Patsy; three daughters, Debbie Banther, of Aurora, Glenda Gillis and her husband Phil, of Springfield and Barbara Stobbe and her husband Roger, of Marionville; son Greg Johnson and his wife, Tonya, of Nixa; 11 grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; one great-great grandson and several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents; son Carl Johnson, Jr.; granddaughter April Banther; two brothers and three sisters.
A celebration of life will be held at a later date. Arrangements are under the direction of Williams Funeral Home in Marionville.
