“J.B.” John B. Dalton

“J.B.” John B. Dalton, 83, of Pierce City, passed away May 4, 2019 at Cox-Monett in Monett. Dalton was born in Bingham, Neb. Nov. 8, 1935 to Clarence and Ona (Carnes) Dalton Thrasher. Dalton was married to Geneva Netherly in 1992, in Miami, Okla. He was the owner and operator of an over-the-road truck driver service.
Surviving are the following: his wife; son, Johnny Bob Dalton of Las Vegas, Nev.; daughters, Deanna M. Taylor of Forsyth and Debra Ford of Greeley, Colo.; sister, Geneva Brown of Pierce City;  brothers, Sam Dalton of Pierce City; Jerry Dalton of Carthage and Vernon Dalton of Corona, Calif.; five grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.
Services were held May 7, 2019 with graveside services that followed at Clear Creek Cemetery near Pierce City. Arrangements were under the care and direction of Lakin Funeral Home in Pierce City.
