A state bill in Missouri banning cell phones in the classroom has been implemented following the close of the previous school year. For the coming academic season, students will have no choice but to keep their devices away during school hours.

The City of Mt. Vernon unveiled their new pickleball courts in the Spirit of '76 Park on Thursday, July 24, during a ribbon-cutting ceremony. The city converted the old volleyball court into a pickleball court, and the middle courts in the tennis courts were also repainted for pickleball.
