WILLIAM “BILL” ALONZO SHEPHERD

William “Bill” Alonzo Shepherd, 66, of Monett passed away on Saturday, Nov. 11, 2023, at home in Monett. He was born on Aug. 13, 1957 in Purdy, the son of Joe Robert and Marilyn Sue (Boyce) Shepherd.
He was a high school graduate and served his country honorably in the United States Navy and in the Coast Guard. He was a member of Christ the King Lutheran Church in Bellevue, Wash.
He is survived by his mother; one brother, Randy Shepherd of Seattle, Wash.; and a host of extended family and countless friends.
He was preceded in death by his father.
He has been cremated at his request with no services planned at this time. Arrangements are under the personal care and direction of Buchanan Funeral Home in Monett.
