WILBURN WILSON

Wilburn Wilson, 87, of Aurora passed away on Sunday, March 17, 2024, at Cox Hospital in Monett. He was born Feb. 9, 1937, in Crane, the son of Enoch Washington and Ruby (Salkil) Wilson.
He attended Hurley Schools in Hurley and worked for MFA Feed Mill in Aurora.
On Aug. 29, 1958, he married Patsy Sue O’Brien in Mt. Vernon. They were married for over 55 years when she preceded him in death on April 18, 2014.
He is survived by his eight children, Brenda Kay Huse of Branson, Peggy Sue Wilson, Russell Wilburn Wilson, Steven Earl Wilson, Ricky Lee Wilson and Eric Dean (Pam) Wilson, all of Aurora, Ralph “Dale” (Sherry) Wilson of Arkansas and Roger Eugene (Sandy) Wilson of Fritch, Texas; 18 grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren and several great-great grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents; his wife, Pasty; three sisters, Mable Harris, Wanda Grace Batson, and Katherine Williams; and five brothers, Carl, Junior, Jerry, Dan, and Herman Wilson.
Visitation and memorial services were held on Wednesday, March 20, at Crafton-Cantrell Funeral Home in Aurora.
