Whosoever MV, Inc. held an open house at the Living Hope Recovery sober living facility near the intersection of highways 96 and 39 on Sunday, July 31. The building, formerly the Community Bible Church, was acquired by Whosoever, which tore its interior down to the studs and completely rebuilt it. The building is now an all-female-living facility for women who are recovering from addiction, abuse or other trauma; it can house up to 10 women at one time, in addition to the house mother who will oversee the residents. As of press time, six women had applied to come live at the facility.
Volunteers are requested to help teach the residents basic life skills, such as cooking, coping skills, checkbook balancing, and more. For more information, or to volunteer, go on Facebook to the Whosoever MV, Inc. page.
