Thomas Wayne Wheeler

Thomas Wayne Wheeler, 66, of Aurora, passed away Feb. 3, 2020, at his home. He was born June 30, 1953, in Aurora,to Derrel B. and Jo Ann (Wallace) Wheeler.
He was a 1971 graduate of Ruskin High School in Kansas City, and was a retired technical sergeant E6 for the United State Air Force. He was an eagle scout and served as a Boy Scout leader and was a member of the NRA and the Orange Cumberland Presbyterian Church.
Wheeler is survived by his mother, Jo Ann Wheeler; daughters, Waynette (Rodney) Rakowitz of Corpus Christi, Texas, Mica (Sol) Raindl of San Antonio, Texas and Tammy (Christopher) Reed of Fort Meade, Md.; step-son, Alan Hill of Greensburg, Penn.; brother, Glenn (Laurah) Wheeler of Pleasant Hill; and seven beloved grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his father.
A visitation was held Feb. 11, 2020, at the Crafton-Cantrell Funeral Home in Aurora, with a funeral service that followed. Burial was at the Marionville IOOF Cemetery in Marionville.
