Tebow retires from city of Mt. Vernon after 13 years

Mt. Vernon resident Mike Tebow has retired from his position with the city of Mt. Vernon. Tebow, on the job for 13 years, managed the MARC community center in west Mt. Vernon. A celebration in his honor was thrown at the Mt. Vernon Area Chamber of Commerce office the afternoon of Friday, June 21. In his retirement, Tebow said he plans on doing a lot of camping, fishing and a little golf. Tebow added that this summer he and his wife Michelle will be hosting a boys camp in Maine for five weeks.
