Steven Carl Thomas

Steven Carl Thomas, 57, of Cape Fair, passed away May 12, 2019, at Mercy Hospital in Springfield.
He was born Oct. 7, 1961, in Purdy, to Henry and Darlene Barbara Ann (Daniel) Thomas, who preceded him in death. Thomas received his education in Monett. For many years he enjoyed fishing and hunting with his father and being a great outdoorsman.
Survivors include: daughters, Brandy Venice Thomas of Springfield and Cynthia Michelle Nelson of McAlester, Okla.; sisters, Kimberly Ann (John) Ginther of Cape Fair, Christie Dawn (Larry) Goodson of Joplin and Jamie Leigh (Toby) Sturgel of Cape Fair;  and 17 grandchildren.
Graveside services were held May 17, 2019, at I.O.O.F Cemetery in Monett under direction of Fohn Funeral Home in Cassville.
