Scott Patrick Yates

Scott “BooBoo” Patrick Yates II, 18, of Pierce City passed away Oct. 6, 2018, after injuries he sustained in a car accident. He was born in Dade City, Fla. Nov. 12, 1999 to Scott Patrick and Sabrina (Keehn) Yates I. Exotic cars were his passion, and he enjoyed fishing.
Yates is survived by: his parents of El Dorado Springs; brothers Timothy Yates of Pierce City and Logan Yates of El Dorado Springs; sister Cheyanne Ferguson and her fiancé Josh Randall of El Dorado Springs; paternal grandparents; maternal grandparents; several aunts, uncles, and cousins; and a host of family and friends. He was preceded in death by his grandfather Robert Yates and great-grandfather, Terry Luker.
Visitation was held Oct. 10, 2018, from 6-8 p.m. at the Bennett-Wormington Funeral Home in Monett. Graveside services were held Oct. 11, 2018, at the Cox Cemetery in Monett. Arrangements have been entrusted to the care of the Bennett-Wormington Funeral Home in Monett.
