RONALD DALE LASSWELL

Ronald Dale Lasswell Sr, age 75, of Aurora, Missouri, passed away at 10:14 a.m. on Sunday, September 11, 2022, at Cox South Hospital in Springfield, Missouri. He was born February 13, 1947, in Aurora, the son of Jesse Richard and Velma Christina (Shoemaker) Lasswell.
 
Ronald was a 1965 graduate of Aurora High School and was a truck driver.
 
On July 18, 2002, he married Sondra Louise Lasiter in Sarcoxie, Missouri.
 
Ronald is survived by his wife of 20 years, Sondra; three daughters, Sherie Dawson of Aurora, Shelie Baughan of Joplin, Missouri and Kesha Moore and husband, Bobby, of Clever, Missouri; four sons, Ronald Lasswell Jr. and wife, Ana, of Miller, Missouri, Robert Lasswell and wife, Leigh, of Bentonville, Arkansas, Christopher Lasiter and wife, Jessy of Crane, Missouri and Jason Nelson of Aurora; two sisters, Janice Smith and husband, Bob, of Macks Bend, Missouri and Joyce Carpenter and husband, Skip, of Aurora; sixteen grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren and one great-great granddaughter and several nieces and nephews.
 
Ronald was preceded in death by his parents, Jesse, and Velma; daughter, Shelbie Merritt; son, Travan Munster and brother, Richard Lasswell Sr.
 
A graveside service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Monday, September 26, 2022, at the Clay Hill Cemetery. Arrangements are under the direction of the Crafton-Cantrell Funeral Home in Aurora, Missouri.
