Rita Fay Craig

Rita Fay Craig, 82, of Cassville, passed away Jan. 15, 2020 at Cox Medical Center South in Springfield.
She was born Nov. 7, 1937 in McDonald County to A.H. and Laverna Fay (Osborn) Penn. She was married to Dean Litchfield and to this union four sons were born. In 2000 she married Leon Craig, who survives.
She grew up and received her education in McDonald County. In 1961 she moved to Cassville to make her home. During her younger years she worked at Dairy Queen. Later she worked for Jumping Jacks and then Justin Boot Factory, from which she retired. She was a member of Shady Grove Community Club and enjoyed her time as a Girl Scout Leader.
She is survived by: children, Dennis (Brenda) Litchfield of Texarkana, Texas, Kenny (Karen) Litchfield of Neosho Kevin (Elaine) Litchfield of Monett, Jeff (Theresa) Litchfield of Cassville, Carl (Kim) Craig of Lantana, Texas, Joan (Jim) Riddle of Cape Fair and Evan (Tonia) Craig of Purdy; 23 grandchildren; 34 great-grandchildren; and three great-great-grandchildren. Preceding her in death was her parents; sister, Donna Robbins and a granddaughter.
Services were held Jan. 19, 2020 at Fohn Funeral Home in Cassville. Burial was at Russell Cemetery in Butterfield.
