Phyllis Ann Schaller
Phyllis Ann Schaller passed away on Sunday, Jan. 25, 2026, in Monett. Born on Aug. 25, 1936, in West Plains, to the late Purl Edgar and Viola Mildred (Pingree) Good.
She was a farmer for most of her life, finding joy and fulfillment in working on the farm and caring for her horses and a devout member of St. Lawrence Catholic Church.
She is survived by her sons, Rick Henry and wife Sandy, Skip Schaller and wife Beth, Jack Schaller and wife Tamra; her daughter, Rita Hartwigsen; her grandchildren, great-grandchildren, brothers, Don Good, John W. Good and wife Nancy; her sisters, Evadene Vinneau, Sue Adams and husband Marshall.
Schaller was preceded in death by her husband, Gus Schaller, who passed in 1988; her parents, Purl and Viola, a sister, Maxine Good and her brothers, Arnold Good and Ray Good.
A celebration of life will be held at 1 p.m. Saturday, May 30, at Mt. Calvary Cemetery in Monett. Family and friends will gather to honor her memory and bid her a peaceful farewell. May she rest in eternal peace. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions have been suggested to the St. Lawrence Catholic School. Arrangements have been entrusted to Buchanan Funeral Home, Monett.
