Patsy Ann Whitney

Patsy Ann Whitney, 77, of Aurora, passed away Dec. 2, 2019, at the Sonshine Manor Nursing Home in Republic. She was born Nov. 4, 1942, in Quail Spur, to Truman Lavern and Jewell Loraine (Hilton) Ragain.
Whitney was a homemaker and a member of the Aurora Baptist Temple Church. In 1958, she married James Richard Whitney; he preceded her in death in 1995.
Whitney is survived by: daughter, Donna (Douglas) Cox of Aurora; son, Daniel (Megan) Whitney of San Jose, Calif.; brothers, Lavern (Janice) Ragain of Chickasha, Okla. and Pete (Debbie) Ragain of Laurie; five grandchildren; one brother-in-law; one sister-in-law; and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by: her parents and her husband.
A funeral service was held Dec. 6, 2019, at the Crafton-Cantrell Funeral Home in Aurora. Burial followed at the Maple Park Cemetery in Aurora. Visitation was held Dec. 5, 2019, in the funeral home chapel. Memorials may be made payable to the Aurora Baptist Temple Youth Program in care of the funeral home.
