Netta Sue Weston

Netta Sue Weston, age 79, of Monett, MO, passed away on Monday morning, June 8, 2020, while at her home with her family at her side.
Sue was born on March 22, 1941 in Stotts City, MO, daughter of the late William Albert “Bill” Rowley and Miriam Estenith (Porter) Rowley. Sue received her education at St. Mary’s Catholic School in Pierce City. She worked for many years at Delta U.S.A., retiring in 2000. Sue was also instrumental in organizing and volunteering time at Oak View State School. She was a member and Sunday school teacher at Liberty United Methodist Church. Sue had many hobbies in life including camping, cake decorating, watching the Kansas City Chiefs and going to the senior citizen dances. Nothing brought her more joy than spending time with her family.
On January 26, 1958, Sue married Charles T. Weston south of Monett. They were blessed with many wonderful years together until his passing in 2001. Sue was also preceded in death by three sons, Tom, Tim and Matthew Weston; one granddaughter, Mackynzie Lee Payne; and three sisters, Charolette Golubski, Betty Ann Williams and Josephine Golubski.
Sue is survived by two sons, Speck Weston and wife Kathy, of Monett and Jeremy Weston and wife Susan, of Wheaton; one daughter, Kimberly Payne, of Monett; two sisters, Jean Davids, of Chatsworth, CA and Beverly Roetto, of Monett; ten grandchildren, Darlene, Steven,  T.J., Colt, Brittany, Brandon, Whitney, Emily, Sydnee, Hannah and Miah; eleven great-grandchildren, Sammy, Kaylee, Wyatt, Matthew, Breanna, C.J., Zach, Natasha, Nick, Austin and Stephanie; as well as a host of extended family and friends.
Graveside services will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Thursday, June 11, 2020 at Liberty Cemetery, Monett, with Reverend Arnold Ray Evans officiating. Friends may pay their respects from 3:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. on Wednesday evening at the funeral home. Memorial contributions have been suggested to Liberty United Methodist Church or New Liberty United Methodist Church in care of the funeral home. Arrangements have been entrusted to Buchanan Funeral Home, Monett, MO.
