The front window of the Lawrence County Record was painted with an image of Santa Claus, perhaps checking the paper to see who has been naughty and who has been nice this year.

Members of the Mt. Vernon High School Art Club have been busy decorating the windowpanes of buildings in downtown Mt. Vernon in preparation for the upcoming holiday season. The members of the Art Club will paint as many windows as possible until Thanksgiving.
