Mt. Vernon Cheer places second at regionals

The 2019-2020 Mount Vernon High School Cheerleaders competed at the MCCA (Missouri Cheerleading Coaches Association) West Regional on Sunday, Oct. 20, 2019, at Staley High School in Kansas City. The cheerleaders placed second in the 2 Small Division, earning a bid to the State Competition. The State Competition will be held at Lindenwood University in St. Charles, Nov. 16-17. The cheerleaders are coached by Laurel Cook and KayLynn Pennell.
