MILDRED CATHERINE OWENS

Mildred Catherine Owens, 84, of Albany, Ken. (formerly of Monett) passed away on Sunday Jan. 28, 2024. She was born in Wells, Mich. on June 9, 1939, the daughter of Frank an Anna (Grasha) Hayson.
On April 8, 1966, she married Everett Owens, in Vancouver, Wash.; they were married for 32 years when he passed away on June 20, 1998.
She was a retired housekeeper for Cox Monett Hospital.
She is survived by two sons, Gary Owens of Texas and Jimmy Finckeone of Washington; two daughters, Pamela (Vincent) Ostertag of Albany, Ken. and Cathy (Derek) Payne of Golden; two sisters, Mary (Jim) Bartylla of Prescott, Ariz. and Lucille (John) Lynch of Rapid River, Mich.; eight grandchildren; and many great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband Everett; one daughter, Christine Arnholter; three brothers, Frank Hayson, Mick Hayson and Louie Hayson; and two sisters, Helen Blanchett, and Patsy Hayson.
Visitation was held on Friday, Feb. 2, at the Bennett-Wormington Funeral Home in Monett. Funeral services were held on Saturday, Feb. 3. She was buried next to her husband at the Monett I.O.O.F. Cemetery in Monett.
