Loretta Dean Cunningham

Loretta Dean Cunningham, 76, of Crane, passed away July 1, 2020, at her home. She was born April 28, 1944, in Kansas City, to Roscoe and Bertha (Whelchel) Cringan.
She was a 1963 graduate of Richmond High School in Richmond. She worked for the Englewood Christian School in Independence, Rival Manufacturing in Warrensburg and Ozarks Methodist Manor in Marionville. After retiring, she was a homemaker and a member of the Ozarks Coin Club and Life Fellowship Church in Aurora. In 1963, she married Leon Ray Cunningham, in Richmond. He preceded her in death in 2014.
She is survived by: daughter, Trinket (Chris) Foster of Crane; son, Jon (Janie) Cunningham of Crane; seven grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; sisters, Nina (Lewis) Caylor, Mary (Jim) LaFolette, Celeste Cringan and Lola Caylor; brother, Billy Cringan; and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by: her parents, Roscoe and Bertha; husband, Leon; sister, Francis (Larry) Harris; and brother-in-law, David Caylor.
A memorial service, under the direction of the Crafton-Cantrell Funeral Home in Aurora, will be held at 10:30 a.m. Friday, July 10, 2020, at Life Fellowship Church in Aurora. Burial will be at the Missouri Veterans Cemetery in Springfield. Memorials may be made payable to the Breast Cancer Foundation of the Ozarks, in care of the funeral home.
