Linda Gayle Harvey Ehrhardt

Linda Gayle Harvey Ehrhardt passed away peacefully Dec. 3, 2018, while at Cox South Hospital in Springfield.
She lived most of her 76 years in Lawrence County, presently making her home in Freistatt. Ehrhardt was born in Verona Jan. 16, 1942, to Fenton “Pete” and Barbara (Ruscha) Harvey. She attended Pierce City High School and graduated in 1960.
 She married Gilbert Otto Ehrhardt in 1963. Her job experiences included the Selective Service Board, Vaisey Bristol Shoe Corp, Friend Tire Printing and running the family farm, Ehrhardt Dairy. At the time of her death, she was working part-time at the Greenfield Post Office as a mail clerk. Ehrhardt was a longtime member of Trinity Lutheran Church, where she enjoyed being a member of the Bell Choir.
Ehrhardt is survived by: sons, Matthew Otto Ehrhardt, of Monett and Jason Fenton (Andrea) Ehrhardt of Freistatt; sisters, Thelma Fischer, Nancy (Jerry) Stroud and Gloria (Jim) Abramovitz; five grandchildren; and a host of family.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Gilbert; and brother, William “Bill” Harvey.
Funeral services for Ehrhardt will be held at 11 a.m. Friday, Dec. 7, 2018, at Trinity Lutheran Church in Freistatt. The family will receive friends from 10 a.m. until service time at the church. Interment will be held at a later date in Trinity Lutheran Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, the family has requested donations be made to Trinity Lutheran Church (Bell Choir). Arrangements have been entrusted to Buchanan Funeral Home in Monett.
