Kirby Albert Hogrefe

Kirby Albert Hogrefe, 44, of Nixa, passed away May 10, 2020. He was born Jan. 8, 1976, in Storm Lake, Iowa, to Larry and Annette (Gibbons) Hogrefe.
He was a 1994 graduate of Sioux Rapids High School in Sioux Rapids, Iowa. He continued his education and playing golf at Briar Cliff University in Sioux City, Iowa, graduating in 1994 with his bachelor’s degree. He was a technician inspector for Rottler Pest Control in Springfield and worked for Schwan’s for 10 years.
Hogree is survived by: his fiancée, Kim Voelker, of Nixa; parents, Larry and Annette Hogrefe, of Sioux Rapids, Iowa; daughter, Kelsey Hogrefe; son, Kolby Hogrefe; sister, Kari (Jim) Swanson of Pocahontas, Iowa; and several aunts, uncles and cousins.
A private family service will be held at a later date. Arrangements are under the direction of the Fossett-Mosher Funeral Home, in Mt. Vernon.
