Kenneth Wayne Hazen

Kenneth Wayne Hazen, age 75, of Grove, Oklahoma, formerly of Mt. Vernon, Missouri, passed away at 8:20 p.m. on Sunday, November 15, 2020, at Cox South Hospital in Springfield, Missouri.  He was born June 2, 1945, in Fairfax, Oklahoma, the son of Walter Morris and Thelma Irene (Langley) Hazen.
Ken was a 1963 graduate of Fairfax High School in Fairfax, Oklahoma.  He was a crude oil station manager for Shell Oil Company in Southwest Missouri and a member of the First Christian Church in Mt. Vernon.
On February 7, 1964, he married Marian Elaine Tate, in Fairfax.  She preceded him in death on January 14, 2009.  On September 9, 2009, he married Kathryn E. Glover in Mt. Vernon.
Ken is survived by his wife, Kathryn Hazen, of Grove, Oklahoma; three daughters, Shelley Wilks and her husband, Chris, of Monett, Missouri, Stacey Darter and her husband, Tommy, of Mt. Vernon and Kris Lagarsky and her husband, Justin, of Jefferson City, Missouri; three grandchildren, Cale and Rafe Darter and Addison Miller; two great-grandchildren, Audree and Cameron Cox.
Ken was preceded in death by his parents, Walter and Thelma, first wife, Elaine, grandson, Davin Cox, one sister, Betty Jo Logsdon and one brother, Bud Hazen.
A graveside service will be held at a later date at the Fairfax City Cemetery in Fairfax, Oklahoma.  Arrangements are under the direction of the Fossett-Mosher Funeral Home in Mt. Vernon.
Memorial donations may be made payable to the Parkinson Foundation, in care of the funeral home.
