Joyce Ethel Hutchins

Joyce Ethel Hutchins, 82, of Monett, passed away June 13, 2019, while at her daughter’s home in Monett. She was born Dec. 28, 1936, in Baltimore, Md. to the late Frederick “Fritz” Schulz and Mildred (Spangenberger) Schulz. She was a homemaker and enjoyed crocheting, taking care of her flowers, taking trips to Branson and spending time with family and friends.
In 1957, she married Thomas Alva Hutchins ;they were blessed with over 60 years of marriage until his passing in 2017.
Survivors include: sons, David (Karen) Hutchins of Springfield, Ill., Eric Hutchins, of Fayetteville, Ark. and Michael (Stacy) Hutchin of Neosho; daughters, Shelly (Kenny) Johnson of Neosho and Joyce (Gail) Allred of Monett; brothers, Norman (Bonnie) Brown of Baltimore, Md., Henry Larry (Leann) Young of Glen Rock, Pa. and Dale Thomas Young, of Baltimore, Md.; 14 grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. Hutchins was preceded in death by: daughter, Linda Dutton.
Graveside services were held June 15, 2019 at the Kings Prairie Cemetery, southeast of Monett. Memorials may be made to Children’s Miracle Network in care of the funeral home. Arrangements have been entrusted to Buchanan Funeral Home in Monett.
