Joanne Marie Funcannon

Joanne Marie Funcannon of Cassville, passed away at Lacoba Nursing Home in Monett, June 6, 2020. She was born Sept. 1, 1931 to Helen Harris and Lyal Woosley in Peoria, Ill. She graduated from Longfellow grade school and Woodruff High School.
She married her high school sweetheart, Elijah Carl Funcannon in June 1949. They enjoyed 64 years together and were dedicated Christians. He preceded her in death in 2013.
She is survived by: children, Carl  (Diane) Michael of Cassville, Rick (Lisa) Allen of Lacon, Ill., Scott (Lisa) Bradley of Austin, Texas, and Barbara (David) Tidd of Las Vegas, Nev.; 11 grandchildren; and 14 great-grandchildren; brothers, James Griffin of Atlanta, Ga., David Woosley; sister, Kyle Woosley Matson; and a host of extended family. She was preceded in death  by sister, Barbara Taylor of Ft. Lauderdale, Fla.
Services were held at Fohn Funeral Home in Cassville, June 15. A private burial followed after services.
