Jimmie Clarence Thomas, Jr., 49, of Pierce City passed away Oct. 14 in Pierce City. Thomas was born in Council Grove, Kan. June 11, 1971. He was the son of Jimmie Clarence and Delores (Herron) Thomas. He was married to Jeanne Schroeder June 3, 1995 in Pierce City. He was a painter at ASI.
Surviving are his wife; sons, Mitchell (Nicole) Lowery of Monett, Michael (Samuel) Martin-Lowery of Little Rock, Ark., Jimmie (Angel) Thomas III of Pierce City, Craig Thomas of Pierce City, Bradley Bos of Pierce City, and Corie Bos of Pierce City; daughters, Amanda (Josh) Remington of Pierce City and Ashley LeMay of Osage City, Kan.; sister, Deanna (Rodney) Yowell of Dunlap, Kan.; 18 grandchildren; and several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Thomas has been cremated at his request. Graveside services will be at the Pierce City Cemetery in Pierce City on Sunday, Oct. 25, 2020 beginning at 2 p.m. Arrangements have been entrusted to the personal care and direction of Lakin Funeral Home, Pierce City.
