Jim “Pops” Friggle

Jim “Pops” Friggle, 69, of Aurora passed away on Nov. 2, 2025. He was born on July 28, 1956, in Seminole, Okla., the son of Lloyd and Betty (Pipkin) Friggle.
He dedicated over four decades of his life to Hiland Dairy, where he served in numerous roles with unwavering commitment and integrity. He began his career as an assistant to the drivers and steadily worked his way up, earning the respect and admiration of colleagues throughout the company.
On March 29, 1974, he married the love of his life, Diana Angus, at Aurora Baptist Temple. Together, they raised two children, Brandt and Ashley Friggle. Known affectionately as “Pops,” he was a devoted father and grandfather. His presence was a constant source of support and encouragement, he never missed a game, recital, or event, even when his health made it difficult.
He was also a cherished member of Engage Church, where he served faithfully in many capacities over the years, from elder to coffee bar volunteer. He was a founding member of the “OFC,” a group of mature men in the church who prayed, served, and their experience help guide and shape other ministries in the church.
He is survived by his loving wife, Diana Friggle, of Aurora; his son, Brandt Friggle, and wife Tori, of Aurora; his daughter, Ashley Friggle, of Republic; six grandchildren; one great-grandbaby arriving in the spring; two brothers, Mike Friggle and wife Karen and Mark Friggle and wife Melanie; and several beloved nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Lloyd and Betty Friggle, and his sister, Brenda Friggle.
There will be a celebration of life at Engage Church, 16 W. Olive in Aurora, on Saturday, Nov. 15. Visitation will begin at 10 a.m., followed by his celebration of life starting at 11 a.m.
